The New York Times reports that fearful hand-wringing Dems would rather look tough on terrorists than hold the line on privacy rights. See the story here. Keep in mind that the attacks of 9/11 could have been prevented with existing intelligence and the laws that were on the books on September 10, 2001 according to reputable and unbiased sources like the 9/11 Commission's report and Lawrence Wright's essential Pulitzer Prize winning book The Looming Tower. The problem with Democrats is the fear that they can't sell doing the right thing as well as Republicans have sold doing the wrong thing. Get over it Dems!
