Music News: Lucky Dube Killed in Carjacking

South African reggae star Lucky Dube was murdered late Thursday during a carjacking in Johannesburg. Three gunmen sprayed Dube with bullets before fleeing as his Chrysler ran into a tree. Much of his initial music chronicled the oppression of apartheid in the early but Dube always maintained his focus on social consciousness in his lyrics.
