Film: Clooney a Class Act

Clooney opts not to wait for an EMS crew this time...

In the wake of the suspension of 40 members of the staff of the Palisades Medical Center in North Bergen, New Jersey for unauthorized snooping about in his medical records, one would expect George Clooney to be exultant, or sternly satisfied. But Clooney instead showed that he is indeed America's classiest ex-E.R. cast member turned movie star. "While I very much believe in a patient's right to privacy, I would hope that this could be settled without suspending medical workers," Clooney said in a very Dr. Doug Ross like statement. No word on whether he bobbled his head. Incidentally, the motorcycle accident that started this all off occurred quite close to my dwelling place on beautiful, scenic Boulevard East, perched atop the palisades of New Jersey and with a stunning view of the west side of Manhattan that may or may not have distracted the one-time Facts of Life actor.
