Not the real disco dentist but a reasonable facsimile
The Syracuse Post-Standard reports that ironically monikered dentist Dr. George Trusty was performing a routine tooth extraction on his patient when Rose Royce's 1976 disco hit "Car Wash" (from the movie of the same name) came over the radio. The dentist began to get down with his bad self like the jive turkey he so clearly is, or, in the legalese of the lawsuit now pending he was "performing rhythmical steps and movements to the song". But he did the bump when he should have hustled because he "lost the inch-long drill bit, which punctured her sinus cavity and came to rest by her eye socket." Majorly unmellow Dr. Disco dude, if I do say so myself.
